British Sheep
JACOB
The Jacob can be found throughout Britain in numerous flocks with a brown and white patched fleece, they are intelligent, active animals with enquiring minds.
LINCOLN LONGWOOL
The Lincoln is one of the oldest long wool breeds, producing the heaviest and most lustrous fleece which is highly valued, especially by me.
NORFOLK HORN
The Norfolk has been a recognised breed since 1610 grazing the sandy heathlands of East Anglia. With their long legs and agile bodies they have a fondness for jumping hedges if given the chance!
HERDWICK
The word “Herdwyck”, meaning sheep pasture, is recorded in documents dating back to the 12th century. Herdwick sheep are the most hardy of British hill breeds giving them a coarse and hard wearing wool.
SHETLAND
Native to the islands north of Scotland, the primitive Shetland sheep come in a wide variety of colours from white through to grey, fawn, brown to almost black.
WELSH MOUNTAIN BADGER FACED
They have a black stripe running from under the chin to belly and down to the tail. The Badger Face sheep have great hardiness and mothering abilities.
