British Wool:

Wool is a biodegradable natural fibre which resists dirt due to its physical structure, natural oils and ability to absorb moisture from the air which prevents static electricity; so retaining a good appearance by staying clean and dust free longer.

It is naturally fire resistant

Wool is water-repellent and resists liquid spillages.

Wool can be refreshed by pressing with a steam iron. Always place a damp cloth over the wool and set the iron on a cool setting, leave to air.

I advise woven throws are dry cleaned.

If items are stored for safe keeping ensure they are clean and protected in a sealed paper bag.

Wool may be hand washed in cool water with pure soap flakes, spun and pressed, if you are confident with hand washing wool. Remember it must never be immersed or agitated in hot water. A gentle wool cycle wash at 30 degrees can be used.
